拍品与故宫博物院藏清乾隆霁红釉直颈瓶器形相似（参见《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系—颜色釉》，页29，图26），而尺寸较大，造型敦实沉稳。瓶身满施霁红釉，色泽饱满纯正，釉质肥厚温润，反映出乾隆时期霁红釉烧制技术的成熟。 霁红釉创烧于明初景德镇御器厂，清代承袭烧造，由于掌握窑内气氛等工艺难度较大，呈色鲜艳纯正者十分难得，一向受到鉴赏家青睐。 参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系—颜色釉》，上海科学技术出版社，1999年，页29，图26
