Wan Yunyan (active circa 1930-1950), dated to the Wuzi year, corresponding to 1948 and of the period Each painted with an iron-red 'floral scroll' border, the shallow interior finely enameled in polychrome with two gentlemen seated in conversation in a mountain landscape, the accompanying poem signed Wan Yunyan with the seal shi shan and the cyclical date. 8 7/8in (22.7cm) diam.
