In 1967, the brand added a travel time complication with the first Autavia GMT. The original Autavia GMTs featured compressor-style cases and manually wound movements. In 1970, Heuer released the ref. 1163, which was the first GMT Autavia with an automatic movement; Heuer went on to produce three different variations of the ref. 1163 GMT.
