德化窑以烧白瓷著称，窑址在今福建省德化县。宋元时已烧制青白瓷，明代主烧白瓷。德化窑的瓷质优异，胎、釉浑然一体，色泽光润明亮，如脂似玉，洁白之中又闪牙黄，被称为“象牙白”、“猪油白”，为当时中国白瓷之代表。
