Middle Kingdom, 12th-11th Dynasty, 2133-1797 BC. A polychrome wooden figural groupposed of a kilted male figure with short hair kneeling on a rectangular base, two lidded piriform jars and a mechanismposed of two wheels and a column of notched 'cogs' before him, the upper wheel and cogs moveable, the figure and jars secured to the base with pegs, yellow, cream and black painted pigmentation remaining.
