A silver-gilt crossbow broochprising a hollow hexagonal-section crossbar with beaded wire collars and onion-shaped knop terminals, third knop above and openwork scroll detailing to the upper face on one side of the bar only; triangular-section bow with beaded wire coil to the lower end, D-section footplate with scroll detailing to the long sides and to the short edge; pin and catchplate to reverse.
