A carved bone section of a pyxis with recessed upper rim and rounded lower rim; Cupid modelled in the half-round advancing right with one leg bent, wings spread to the rear, one arm extended; decorated marsupium purse in the field; mounted on a ctom-made display stand. 19.5 grams total, 58mm high including stand (2 1/4").
