赏析：和阗白玉质，致密温润，雕工精细。整器形象生动，寓意吉祥，包浆明亮。瓜瓞绵绵出自《诗•大雅•绵》：“绵绵瓜瓞，民之初生，自土沮漆。” 瓞为小瓜，瓜瓞共生一蔓，引意为祝颂子孙昌盛，传统的《瓜瓞绵绵》图式有两类，一类是瓜连藤蔓枝叶，另一类是以蝴蝶图案与瓜相配，取蝶与瓞同音，亦是瓜瓞绵绵之意。
