|米拉日巴（1040-1123），是著名藏传佛教噶举派祖师。此尊造像为典型的瑜伽行者形象。双腿呈如意姿坐于莲花座上，左手托嘎巴拉碗，右手上举置于耳际，表示正在唱道歌向弟子传授道法。此尊面容清癯，肩胸袒露瘦骨，衲衣及络腋上錾刻精美纹饰。右腿曲，左腿横盘，舒坐于藏羚羊皮之上。右手置于耳后，以示正用西藏民歌的多段回环体和自由体格碟唱噶举派的教法。
