A RETICULATED WHITE GLAZED PORCELAIN BRUSH POTKorea, Joseon Dynasty, 19th centuryOf cylindrical form, with open work decoration of swastikas enclosed in between stylised suns, covered with a bluish-white glaze.11.4cm (4 1/2in)For further information on this lot please visit theCondition Report: Overall in good condition, only minor firing and glaze imperfections, like little lumps or burst bubbles, ashes in the glaze and gritting to the foot. Two little glaze lines on the upper side of one of the suns.Provenance:pare with similar 19th century white porcelain brush pot from the V&A collection, C.94-1937 for the shape and glaze; for the swastika decoration confront with adambaetdae, pipe rest, also from the V&A collection, C.343-1912.
