A lead-alloy Royalist retainer's badge in the form of a crowned lion passant left, detailing to face and mane, tongue protruding from grimacing mouth, long tail curled along back, one paw raised (this detached). 6.2 grams, 51 mm (30.3 grams total, 93 x 75 mm including case) (2 in. (3 5/8 x 3 in.)). Found Thames spoil, City of London, UK. Themon group of Plantagenet crowned lion badges can be interpreted as Royalist badges of Henry VI. Later adopted by Henry VII.
