A lead vesica seal matrix bearing a fleur-de-lys within a pointed oval border and Latin legend 'S' MATIL[..]W[.]O[.]E' (Seal of Matilda..) around, moulded decoration and small lug to reverse; apanied by an impression. The Portable Antiquities Scheme Database, record id.SF-3B1FD1, for this seal matrix. 12.3 grams, 32 mm (1 1/4 in.) Found with the use of a metal detector near Bradfield Saint Care, Suffolk, UK, on 8 January 2018. Property of a Suffolk, UK, collector.
