A GROUP OF FOURTEEN SNUFF BOTTLES19th/20th centuryComprising: a large painted glass snuff bottle depicting a mountain landscape; an orange glass snuff bottle with inscriptions, turquoise stopper; a double gourd snuff bottle with gilt profiles in relief; two blue and white porcelain snuff bottles; seven different shaped agate snuff bottles; a lapis-lazuli snuff bottle; and a cinnabar lacquer snuff bottle with hardstone inlays, one wood stand.The tallest: 11cm (4 1/4in) high (23).For further information on this lot please visit theCondition Report: Largest glass bottle: internal crack to the glass, mainly around the mouth and the bottom. Top final of the stopper detached from the rest.Two porcelain snuff bottles: bottle onw with chips to the rims. The other with copper red extended repair cracks to the upper side with a void in the body approx. 1cm long, the stopper stuck into the bottle.Agate group: two without stopper, of which the smallest with a chip to the mouth rim. The squared body snuff bottle with two small chips to the foot. Chip to the foot also for the mottled agate snuff bottle with tiger-eye stopper.The rest only minor stone or manufacture imperfections and tiny nibbles to the edges.Provenance: Please note this lot is to be sold at no reserve.
