作者简介：郑慕康(1901-1982年)名师元、师玄，号慕康，广东省潮阳人。幼年对美术、广告图案很有兴趣。1918年进入上海美专，以素描中的肖像画为主攻方向，师从冯超然，得明代曾鲸晕染法神髓，将西洋画的明暗法、透视法和传统工笔人物糅合为一;擅长人物画，兼工诗书。所作仕女，像貌古雅秀丽，仪态端庄，颇能传神。
