The paint layers are in a stable condition overall. The edges of the canvas have been covered with fill and overpaint, the fill is cracking and the overpaint is mismatched in these areas. Some areas of overpaint in the main picture are slightly matte. The varnish is clear and even with a light layer of surface dust.
