SCHEMPP, EMMA (Stuttgart 1892-1969) Pair of 3-flame Art Deco candlesticks, 900 silver, 1920s/30s. Handmade candelabrum with hammered decoration, on domed round stand, triple fluted shaft with curved candelabrum arms, centrally with a removable stylised blossom with closed leaves, with drop guard, hallmarked 'ES', h. approx. 31 cm, weight approx. 1516 g. Slight signs of age and use. Emma Schempp was a master goldsmith with her own workshop in Schwäbisch Gmünd and a member of the local arts and crafts association
