提要：姚椿（1777-1853）字子寿、春木，自称蹇道人、樗寮病叟、东畲老民。娄县（今上海金山廊下）人。清代散文家、诗人、画家。姚椿诗文有很高的造诣，自言其诗“以讽喻为主，以音节为辅，以独造为境，以自然为宗”，又言：“文之所用有四：明道，记事，考古有得，言词深美”。姚椿一生著作不断，有《通艺阁诗录》等多部著作。
