A lozengiform plate brooch decorated with a ring-and-dot lug to each corner, remains of four suspension loops to each edge between, tiered face embellished with notches and polychrome millefiori border, enamelled central panel with possible standing figure holding a spear; remains of catchplate to reverse. 9.03 grams, 39 mm (1 1/2 in.).
