A bifacial rectangular stone mould bearing an incuse stylised lion enclosed by a lunate form surrounded by radiating lines, blank elliptical cartouche below; a fig-shaped cartouche with a trefoil crown to top and bottom, bearing a lion striding left, holding a blade in its raised right paw, sun emerging over its back, stylised palm leaves arching over him, pellets and geometric forms in the field (the arms of Iran); apanied by a museum-quality impression corresponding to both faces. 70 grams, 64 mm (2 1/2 in.).
