A bronze rider with splayed legs and extended arms; the head elongated with helmet detailing, belt detailing indicated with a series of stamped circlets, riding coat flared from the waist and legs spread, one leg lost in antiquity; left arm extended with finger detail, right arm held aloft. 25.08 grams, 53 mm high (2 1/8 in.). UK private collection since before 2000. Acquired at the Harrogate coin fair. Property of an Essex gentleman.
