Poland, circa 1920, marked ’12’ and maker’s mark (illegible) Decorated with foliage in repousse and applied with a silver gilt Torah crown flanked by rampant lions on top of columns pierced with birds, above two doors that open to reveal a miniature Torah scroll , enclosed by rocaille cartouche, decorated with tassels, a plate inscribed in Hebrew ’in the year 1828’ flanked by two stags. 18x14.5 cm Approx. 366 grams * Proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Spirit of Israel organization for children and teenagers at risk.
