A Pennsylvania Dutch painted wood blanket chest 1868; Pennsylvania Marked: 1868 With tulip motif and various other floral motifs 22" H x 48.75" W x 23.5" D品相报告: Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. Appears to have been repainted in certain areas where the finish and color are not appropriate for its age. Interior was lined with floral contact or wallpaper at some point, which is still present. Wood surfaces on the interior and exterior appear to have had varnish applied over the original finish. Overall surface grime on the exterior and interior, including glitter and cloves (presumably used for moth prevention).
