|●永光法师（1860-1924），字海印，自号憨陀、憨头陀，湖南益阳人。晚近佛教复兴高僧，创设中华佛教总会湖南支部并任会长，中华佛教总会副会长，为祝圣寺、白鹿寺、开福寺等寺庙住持。精研禅理，雅工诗画，性亦飘然，创建碧湖诗社和湖山诗社，誉为“南社诗僧”，与溥儒亦师亦友，一时名流，有《碧湖集》（溥儒辑）、《曼陀罗室遗稿》、《海印上人诗集》等行世（参柳亚子《南社纪略》、《益阳地区志》、张志哲编《中华佛教人物大辞典》）。
