Writing box/seaman's secretary, late 19th century. Rectangular body made of mahogany, on the lid inlaid work with checkerboard pattern and cross stars framed by geometric borders. Interior with corresponding partition and small writing rest. Lock without key. Slightly rubbed, 10 x 40 x 21 cm.
