A PAIR OF FIGURAL TAZZAS, BY JOHN FORD & CO, HOLYROOD GLASSWORKS, EDINBURGH, CIRCA 1870 modelled as a gentleman and his female companion in frosted glass, each standing with one hand upon their hip, he wearing a jacket and striped breeches, his left arm raised to support a basket upon his head, she wearing a bodice and striped skirt, her right arm supporting a pail upon her head, the shallow lipped trays with engraved ferns radiating from the centres.
