Description American Chippendale mahogany tilt top candle stand, attributed to Philadelphia, 18th century, with circular molded "dish" top above a birdcage support; turned ball-and-ring baluster form pedestal over three curved legs terminating in ball and claw feet. 28 5/8" H x 22 1/2" dia. Circa 1770. Note: old label to underside reads "Mrs. Jean MacFarlane / Salem Center / Purdys NY" with illegible numbers, likely the identity of a past owner.品相报告: Condition Report Old refinish with traces of old, possibly original surface on the pedestal. Some old burn marks and wear to top and some scattered losses to molded edge.
