Description 1st item: French perfume box with tortoiseshell, foliate brass boulle inlay, satin-lined lid, ebonized sides, and fitted velvet lining, containing four glass perfume bottles with square cut stoppers; two stoppers have gilt foliate design. Retains key. 3 5/8" H x 7" W x 3 3/8" D. Third quarter of the 19th century. 2nd item: English Regency penwork tobacco box with convex lid having illustrated scene from Robert Burns' poem "Tam O'Shanter" to hinged lid and foliate decoration to body. 1" H x 3 1/8" W x 2" D.
