The blue glass bowl with a flat base, curving upwards almost imperceptibly at first but then in a quarter circle arc. Beginning from the edge of the base, the external sides initially shallow, then increasingly steep with pronounced ribs, arranged in the shape of a star. Smooth, vertical rim. The glass of the bowlposed of numerous speckles with black and white spirals, separated by a grid with a blue background and smooth colour gradations. Typical glass object dating from the Julio-Claudian Dynasty.posed of large fragments fused together with minor additions at the edge (at least 95% of the original material is still preserved). Diameter 11.3 cm. Height 3 cm. Provenance: From a private collection in Lower Bavaria, inherited from the consignor's father.
