款识：辛巳夏五月，海亭先生雅正，潘世恩。|钤印：潘世恩印、己未状元 |作者简介：潘世恩（1770-1854），初名世辅，字槐堂、槐庭，号芝轩，生于苏州“贵潘”家族，乾隆年间状元。历任内阁学士、礼部、兵部、户部、吏部侍郎、工部、吏部尚书，官至军机大臣、武英殿大学士加太傅衔。历事乾隆、嘉庆、道光、咸丰四朝，被称为“四朝元老”，著述甚丰，是位学术有成的“状元宰相”。陈康祺的《郎潜纪闻》称潘世恩为“三百年中第一福气中人”。
