Description Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973). Lithograph on paper titled "Un Dejeuner sur l'Herbe Rembranesque, avec Maja et Celestine (A Rembranesque Luncheon on the Grass, with Maja and Celestine)" depicting four figures, one nude, on a lawn. Hand signed along the lower right.; inscribed "depreuve avant acierage (proof before steeling)" along the lower left. One of only five prints before steel facing, apart from the edition of 50. The work is dated in plate in reverse July 20, 1968 along the upper right. With numerous pencil inscriptions along the lower margin along the verso including a stamp reading "Succ. Pablo Picasso Coll. Marina Picasso" from the Successors of Pablo Picasso and his granddaughter Marina Picasso. From Picasso's Series 347 (B. 1689; Ba. 1707 Bb1). Along the upper margin, there is undulation. Along the margins, there is light wear as shown in the listing image. To the upper left margin, there is a network of very light marks, most likely paint and original. To the center, there is a very light foxing. Along the verso, there is a black minute accretion to the lower left quadrant; along the lower margin, there are pencil inscriptions.
