玉器制作在清代发展到顶峰，玉鼻烟壶的制作也极精妙。此件烟壶以白玉材质整料随形雕琢而成，玉质细腻温润，表面带有金红色皮。随形掏膛成器，表面抛光精良而光气十足，顶部带牛血红珊瑚钮，应是清贵族或豪门大户所用。器表无任何纹饰雕琢，仅以玉石之美取胜，这也是遵循「良材不雕」的古制。整体造型古朴自然，大方典雅，曲线优美，材质上佳，又久经盘玩，呈现出光感动人的润色，小巧玲珑便于携带。 来源：台湾资深藏家于20世纪80年代购藏至今 虚拙斋——台湾同一私人藏玉（Lots 633-707）
