A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON 'LOTUS' DISH Ming Dynasty 明 龍泉青釉暗刻蓮紋盤 With gently-rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a protruding rim, the interior incised to the centre with lotus flowers, the cavetto and exterior with stylised lotus flowers issuing from undulating leafy stems, covered overall in a thick celadon glaze, 34.6cm diameter - PROVENANCE: Private Swiss Collection c.f. A comparable dish, dated to the 15th century, was offered at Christie's New York, 19th September 2014, lot 845, and another similar dish, dated to the Yuan Dynasty, was offered at Christie's Hong Kong, 30th November 2011, lot 3013.品相报告: In good order overall, all wear commensurate with age - including surface scratches to the glaze throughout and some wear around the rim. No sign of restoration when examind under UV light.
