此石经拓片照片上可见“段印继谟”“仲嘉过目”印。原石即藏于西安翰墨堂段氏，一时求购者岔集，张继、党晴梵、程仲皋等金石名流纷纷题识。宋伯鲁《知唐桑艾录》卷五着录“汉石经公羊传残字两页，仲嘉其善藏之”。马衡“毕生研究石经”，“尚以未得见公羊传为憾”，故曾托程仲皋向段氏嫡嗣段绍嘉“求借摄影寄京，断为稀世之珍”。此照片或即为当时摄制，又附原函，品相完好，殊为难得。
