觀音刻畫精微，著佛冠、天衣，手持如意，眉目低垂，面容安詳，肅穆端莊，似即刻播福世間，騎乘的鰲魚兩眼圓睜，龍首、魚身雕刻的嚴謹精細，下方則有群峰、浪花和清蓮，共同構成了一幅恬靜、莊嚴的意境。技法嫻熟，做工精細。黃楊木又名 " 千年矮 "，生長速度極慢，木紋細膩。如此尺寸實屬不易，乃是不可多得的木雕精品。
