【形制】冲耳朝天，亦名“朝天耳炉”形体端正肃穆，寓“敬天法祖”之意。此炉平口外侈，微束颈，口沿两侧设冲天对耳。折肩，垂腹，圆弧底，下承三乳足。整器线条圆熟朴拙，各部分比例协调，形态颇具美感，处理极为精妙，颇有上古礼器之遗韵，后世也作为供奉之用炉，在众多炉形中是较为经典的款式。 【皮色】皮色藏经，斑驳有如云霞，幻化其表。焚香之余，轻盘，光润可人，烧、点、盘、抚数月后宝光必现。 【铜质】铜为金黄，精细光亮，铜质金灿，细腻密实，持之坠手，叩之声妙，其声亮丽清正，回颤有韵。
