炉巧作宝鸭之形，曲项昂首，喙半张，胸前、腹下，翎毛纤细轻柔。两翼后敛，短尾后翘，羽翅丰满，翎毛或直或曲，线条柔美，层层迭迭，丰羽之姿，跃然眼前，双掌伫立。宝鸭通体施以错金银技法，饰翎羽、长喙、双蹼，纹饰繁缛细密，做工精致考究。遥想席设宝鸭燃熏溢香，燃熏时烟随颈而上，口吐香气，华贵生趣，何等仙姿，实属难得。
