A group of eight porcelain snuff bottles


19th/early 20th centuryIncluding four cylindrical form bottles, two painted in copper-red and underglaze blue, the other two painted in underglaze blue with landscapes; one meiping-form blue and white bottle with a waterside village; the sixth a rounded rectangular bottle, painted in underglaze blue on a crackle glazed ground with figures and scholar's objects; the seventh and eighth of ovoid-shape, one depicting warriors on horses, greeted by a figure at the gate of a walled city, the other applying copper-red and underglaze blue, depicting Zhongkui and a demon.2 1/2 to 3 1/8in (6.4 to 8cm) high
