The first an 18th century wide-mouthed stem cup with a flared rim, strap dragons painted to the exterior walls above a lotus petal band that repeats on the dish-shaped foot and additional designs on the cylindrical stem; the second a rectangular brush rest in the shape of a brocade-covered set of books, the flat base fired on kiln spurs and bearing a six-character Qianlong mark in seal script (base damaged).3in (7.7cm) height of stem cup2 1/8in (5.4cm) length of brush rest
