The first a rectangular-sectioned jar with elephant-head handles suspending loose rings, the turquoise ground inlaid with auspicious fruits, flowers, butterflies and a phoenix perched on a garden rock, the faceted lid finished en suite, the interior surfaces and the recessed base covered with blue enamel (wear); the second a box of compressed globular form with brightly colored blossoms, fruit, shuangxi and shou characters on a white ground, blue enamel covering the interior and the recessed base also bearing a six-character Daoguang mark in red and white enamel (wear).10in (25.3cm) height of jar and lid10 3/8in (26.5cm) diameter of box
