Constructed in sections as a facing pair of elephants with heads turned outward and trunks turning upward, the removable blankets hanging across their backs below two sages facing forward with removable hats on their heads and scepters in their hands, the surfaces inlaid in bright colors and some of the exposed metal surfaces finished with gilt wash.12 1/4in (31cm) high
