20th centuryThe main panels depicting cranes and swimming ducks in a lush lotus-filled waterway landscape overlaid in jade and other semiprecious stones on a gilt painted ground over carved panels carved in high relief with scholars and ages in retreat in mountain dwellings, framed at the top by ritual vessels and at the bottom with lotus and figural scenes and set in to a geometric-designed painted frame.98 x 24 3/8in (249 x 61.8cm)
