题识：山口先生大人大雅清属，傅增湘。|钤印：增湘、藏园 |释文：余自少壮来即遍交天下士，深衷笃行及魁奇博识之伦，靡不谐际，要以一清彻骨者为最上流，然何其遇之罕也。盖一清彻骨者，其性必定，其度必冲，其见事必豫，其任事必果，于升沉得失利害毁誉之来于前，不以浇其自得之天。固宜其遘之难也，不意垂老之年得之，丁君雨生余薄游江南沿缘至沪。
