|觚为商周青铜礼器之一，其原始功能为酒具。后世仿觚造型者，多为陈设之器，以其纹饰典雅，器形修长端庄之故。此件花觚用和阗玉大材雕琢而成，觚整体呈海棠花形，器身敦实，外壁采用浮雕法饰饕餮纹和相应的云雷纹等。器型古雅庄重，玉色白中闪青，玉质温润古朴，含有些许淡褐色沁斑，彰显古青铜器之肃穆风格，是乾隆时期崇尚古玉文化的真实写照。
