|说明：孔雀蓝釉是以铜为着色剂的低温彩釉，蓝色鲜艳，釉面光亮。因成分与我国传统釉料配方不同，可能其最初研发点为西亚地区，金元时期在北方窑口多见，但因其釉料特性之故，易开片脱落，故传世品不多。宣德正德两朝是孔雀蓝釉烧造最为成功的时期。因其颜色亮丽，若与其它技法配合不当，易生杂乱无章之感，而用于瓷塑作品时却十分相宜。此件弥勒像即为此例，其手持念珠，笑容可掬，衣褶细部处理自然，见之忘忧。
