款识：丁丑夏五月 古吴吉厂管平画|钤印：平湖（白） |管平湖（1897-1967），名平，字吉庵，仲康，号平湖，自称门外汉，祖籍苏州，生于北京一个艺术世家。清代名画家管念慈之子，从小随父学习绘画、弹琴，后拜杨宗稷为师；师从名画家金绍城，学花卉、人物，擅长工笔。“湖社”画会主要成员之一，后任教于北平京华美术专科学校。
