The jar is decorated in various shades of cobalt blue with roses, chrysanthemum, and bamboo growing from rocks with a pair of swallows and insects in flight to the reverse. The rim is decorated with a band of inverted chevrons.

Condition: There is a crack to the lower body (approx. 4.5 cm. long), and a fine crack to the interior (approx. 4 cm. long).
There are a few small frits to the mouth and foot rim, and a few fine firing cracks to the foot (max. approx. 0.5 cm.).
There is surface wear and scratches consistent with age.
