The Banpo-type ovoid body is potted tapering to a small flat base. It is decorated around the upper body with a wide band of scored diagonal lines, applied at mid-body with a pair of loop handles. The neck surmounted by a tall, curved mouth.

Condition: A repaired section to the rim and neck (approx. 4.5 cm. wide).
Small chips.
The vase: 21 cm. high.
Origin: Southern Shaanxi, China
