The teapot is modelled as a peach with the tip forming the spout, the leafy branch is the handle. The domed cover is surmounted by a peach finial. The base is marked 'Gu Jingzhou zhi' (made by Gu Jingzhou' and the underside of the cover is impressed with a seal mark reading 'Jing ji'.
Condition: The cover: chip to the rim (approx. 2 cm. wide).
The pot: Firing cracks where the handle and feet join the pot.
