The pieces is carved as one standing lady and the other seated, both with elaborate hairdos and wearing long dresses with flowing scarves. The standing lady holds a staff in her hand, and the seated lady holds a stick attached to a chain link tassel. They are both on a flowering branch. The base is incised 'Wan Xiong'.
Condition: A few areas reglued, including: one of the flowers on the standing lady; the chain link.
There is a fine crack to the reverse of the seated lady's head, and to one of the hair coils on the top of the standing lady's head.
With chips to the extremities.
