The bodhisattva is carved seated in dhyanasana with two hands folded in his lap holding an alms bowl. His face is carved with a serene expression below his hair carved in tight whorls and his unisna lacquered red.
Condition: The reverse of the shoulder restuck; flaking to the gilt lacquer; cracks to the wood consistent with age; minor chips to the extremities.
